Informations of Witnesses taken
this 3d. day of August 1772 in the Parish
of St. Martin in the Fields in the Liberty
of Westminster at the Dwelling House of
Mr. Dreadcraft the Sign of the Nags
head in Orange Court. Before Thomas

then and there lying Dead as follow

James Carter< no role > of Hedge Lane St. Martin in the fields at the Sign
of the George Innkeeper on his Oath says That on Saturday last
between 6 and 7 o'Clock in the Evening, the Deceased was at
Work on the Outside of the Janett of his House in the Gutters repairing some
Tyling, Deponent was in his House and heard the Deceased fall
down, some People in the Street lifted him up and when Deponent
went to him he appeared to be quite Dead, his Brains being beat
out against the Window Shutters.

Thomas Parr< no role > of Hedge Lane Shoemaker on his Oath Says That
he Saw the Deced on the top of Mr. Carters House about half
a Minute before he felt, and no Parson was with him, the
Deponent heard him fall, and soon after he went to him
and found him to be quite Dead

John Boswell< no role > of Hedge Lane Farrier on his Oath says
that he was in Mr Carters Tap Room drinking and heard a
Noise, and saw the Deceased on then Ground he went to Ann
immediately and found him to be quite Dead John Bu [..]
