Ground Floor, That he returned home about Eight o'Clock and on
pushing his Room door he found it stick at the upper part, upon
which he went to Mr. Tilloys on the First floor for a Candle that
Mrs. Short came down with him having a Candle lighted that
he lifted up the Sash of the Window and saw the Deced behind
the Door, and Mrs. Short on looking in cryed out that the
Deced was Hanging upon which Deponent went in through
the Window, and with a Knite out the Cord by which the
Deced was Hanging, and Deced dropped down, Says that the
Deced was dead, and Dept. believes that she Hanged herself
and that she was Disordered in her Mind.
