to wit.

To any One of the Constables within the
Liberty, of Westmr. in the said County.

By Vertue of my Office, these are in his Majesty's Name to charge
and require you, that on sight hereof you summon and warn
twenty-four able and sufficient Men of your Liberty, personally to
be and appear before me, on Wednesday this Seventh Day
of August Instant by Four of the Clock in the After noon of
the same Day, at the House of Mr. Richd. Barton< no role > known by the
Sign of the White horse at Knightsbridge in the Parish of St. George
Hanover Square in the Liberty and County aforesaid
then and there to do and execute all such Things as shall be given them
in charge, on the behalf of our Sovereign Lord the King's Majesty,
touching the Death of Thomas Davis< no role >
there lying dead; and for your so doing this shall be your Warrant. Given
under My Hand and Seal this 6th. Day of August in
Year of our Lord 1771.
