To wit.

To any One of the Constables of the
Liberty, of Westmr in the said County.

By Vertue of my Office, these are in his Majesty's Name to charge
and command you, that on sight hereof you summon and warn
twenty-four able and sufficient Men of your Liberty, personally to
be and appear before me, on Tuesday this Second Day
of this Instant by Five of the Clock in the After noon of
the same Day, at the House of Mr. John Smith< no role > known
by the sing of the Kings Head situate in James
Street within the Parish of St. Margaret in the
City and Liberty of Westminster .
then and there to do and execute all such Things as shall be given them
in charge, on the behalf of our Sovereign Lord the King's Majesty,
touching the Death of James Lacey< no role >
there lying dead; and for your so doing this shall be your Warrant. Given
under my Hand and Seal this 1st Day of Aprilin
the Year of our Lord 1771.
