Informations taken this Third day of Septmr. 1770
in the Parish of St. George Hanover Square within the
Liberty of Westmr. in the County of Middlesex upon
an Inquisition touching the Death of Richard Gibbles< no role >
lying dead in the said Parish Liberty and County.

Charles Marrall< no role > House Surgeon at St. George's Hospital
in the Parish of St. George Hanover square on his Oath with That
on or about the Twenty first day of August last Richard gibb [..]
the Deced was brought to said Hospital as a Casualty, in the
forenoon being then insensible, Says, that he was informed that
a Cart wheel had passed over Deced's Breast, which was very
Puffy, and that the found a Bruice on his Back on the leftside, Says
that all proper care was taken of Deced in the Hospital, and
he become sensible that night says that the Deced appeared to
be better for four or five days, afterwards grew worse and
died on the 30th. day of August last in said Hospital Says
that he has since opened the Body of the Deced and found
that one of his Ribs on the rightside was broken and the
Lungs wounded, which he believes was the cause of his Death

Robert Sexton< no role > Apprentice to Mr. Mallard Basket maker in
Knightsbridge on his Oath saith, That about afortnight let ago Dept.
was at work before his Master's House in Knights bridge and saw
the Deced driving Mr. Walcocks his Master's Cart from high Park
Corner towards Dept. and saw another Lad driving, Mr. Thompson
Cart, each of the Carts being loaden with Dung, and drawn by
two Horses each, Says that the Horses were Golloping when he
first saw them, and striving to get foremost, the Deced riding
in his Cart and was formost at first, but Mr. Thompson's
Cart passed by the other before they get to Dept. and was above
Twenty Yards before Mr. Wilcocks Cart, upon which the Deced
got down, off the load, went upon the shaft of the Cart, having
