An Inquisition Indented, taken for our Sovereign Lord the
King, at the Parish of Saint George Hanover Square
within the Liberty of the Dean and Chapter of the Collegiate Church of St. Peter, Westminster ,
in the County of Middlesex , the Twenty fifth day of August in the Tenth Year
of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third, by the Grace of God, of Great-Britain,
France and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, and so forth, before Thomas Prickard< no role > , Gentleman,
Coroner of our said Lord the King for the said City and Liberty, on View of the Both of
Daniel Caddy< no role > then and there lying dead, upon the Oath of John Minnitt< no role >
Jonas Hall< no role > , John Boldeck< no role > , Thomas Porter< no role > , Thomas Cox< no role > , Samuel Pouchear< no role > , John Bathial< no role > , Henry

< no role > , Robert Maddox< no role > , Faithfull Strong< no role > , William Patterson< no role > , and William Butterfeild< no role >
good and lawful Men of the said Liberty, duly
chosen, who being then and there duly sworn and charged to enquire for our said Lord the
King, when, how, and by what Means the said Daniel Caddy< no role > came to
h is Death, do upon their Oath say
That the said Daniel Caddy< no role > on the Twenty first Day of
August in the Year aforesaid at the Parish of Saint Luke Chelsea in the County of Middlesex , to
wit at Chelsea going into the River Thames there to Bath himself it to happened that
accidentally casually and by Misfortune he the said Daniel Caddy< no role > was in the Waters of the
said River then and there Suffocated and Drowned, of which said Suffocation and Drowning, he
the said Daniel Caddy< no role > then and there instantly Died. And so the Jurors aforesaid upon
their Oath aforesaid to say, That the said Daniel Caddy in manner and by the means
aforesaid accidentally casually and by Misfortune came to his Death and not otherwise

In Witness whereof as well the said Coroner as the Foreman of the Jurors aforesaid
have to this Inquisition set their Hands and Seals then Day Year and Place above
mentioned
