Elizabeth Brabston< no role > a Lodger at Mr. Reid in King Street
St. James on her Oath saith, That she has known the Deced
almost six Years, that he has kept her Company and
that they were to be Married, Says that she reced a Pass [..]
on Wednesday Morning last from the Deced's Father, where
were wrote the following words, which Dept. believes to be
the Deced's hand writing. "Dr. Bettey, I beg that
"Bury me as soon as can in & so doing Yould

Your Affect."

and this Dept. says that the Deced called upon Dept. on
Monday last when he appeared to be Melancholy and Several
dejected and in dispair, upon which she asked him if [..] Years
he wanted Money ti which he answered that he did not [..] ments
then want, but Dept. then thought him to be in despair

Mews on her Oath saith that John Roberts< no role > the Deced and
his Father Lodged in a Garret in Dept. House, Says that the
Deced was in Dept. Taproom last Tuesday Evening when he
appeared to be low Spirited,Says that the Deced's Father
come home about Ten o'Clock and asked Deced to go to Bed
but Deced said that he had occasion to go out and Deced was
out and returned in a few Minutes, Says that Deced were
up Stairs in order to go to Bed a Little after Eleven o' Clock
and took with him a Candle a Pint of two penny ared Pen and
Juk, and did not speak to Dept. Says that about four o' Clock
the next morning the Deced's Father came down Stairs and
informed Dept. that his Son was very bad, and that he was going
for a poxtor, Says that the Father returned alone in about half on
hour and went up Stirs Says that about Eight o' Clock on
wednesday Morning the Deced's Father and his Son Howell
come to Dept. House, that said Howell told Dept. that his Brother
was dead and that they said afraid he had taken something
and that the Father said in Dept. Taproom That the Deced's
told
