over her, but that the Driver was Civil and helped
her up, Says that the Deced's Cloaths were very
Dirty, and after her being washed, he found some
loose Skin upon the Deceds left Leg which he cut off
and then Dressed her Leg and her Hand, and continued
so to do once every day for about five days, when
a Mortification appeared in her for and several other
black and blew Spots then likewise appeared
Says that he then Dressed the Wounds twice every day
until the time of her Death which happened last
Night between Ten and Eleven o'Clock. And this
Dept. says that he verily believes that the Wounds
and Bruises abovementioned occasioned the
Deced's Death

on his Oath saith, That William Wright< no role > a Carter
Driving for Mrs. Wilkinson in Channel Row Westmr. came
to him [..] Fatherday and desired him to go with him
to Mr. Brooks's in Downing Street, that he might
have an Opportunity of speaking to the poor woman
that his Cart had gone over, Says that he went with
said Wright to the woman's Bedside yesterday when said Wright
asked her, if she remembered that he called to her to
take care, saying that she would otherwise be run over, to whom
she answered that she was frightened and did not hear
him, That said Wright then said I hope you do not
think it was wilfully done, to which she replied
that she had nothing to lay to his Charge, and [..]
that it was not wilfull.
