Sarah Haywood< no role > Widow on her Oath saith That
Elizabeth Flockton< no role > the Deced (Wife of John Flockton< no role >
of Whitcomb Court in the Parish of St. Martin in
the Fields ,) hath been in a very indifferent State of
Health for some time, being Asthmatic Says that Deced
was Seized with a Vomiting last Saturday Morning
and a Purging (Decr. 24th.) and that Mr. Payne an
Apothecary was fetched to her, who attended her every
day afterwards until her Death, which happened
last Thursday Morning about Seven o'Clock, Says
that Deced was very Feverish and had several
Convulsion Fits during her Illness, and died a
natural Death as Dept. verily believes, and Says
that the Deced reced no Ill Treatment from her
Husband or any other Person to Depts. Knowledge,
nor did she ever hear her complain of being ill used
And this Dept. says that the Searchers come yesterday
to see the Body, and Dept. went with them upstairs
where they viewed the Body of Deced.

Richard Flockton< no role > of Blue Cross Street Bricklayer
on his Oath saith, That last Night one Mrs. Merritt,
(who is a Servant at a Publick House in Oxford Road ,)
came to Dept. and said that she had been to Mr.
Flockton's House, and was going to take down the Shrowd
on the Deced, in order to look at the Body, and was told by a Woman
there was no occasion for it, that the Woman died
a natural Death, and was a fine Corpee, Says that
Mrs. Merrit told Dept. that the Deced told her if she (the Deced
should die suddenly, she hoped somebody would look into it,
andsaythat she the said Mrs. Merritt could not be easy without
seeing the Searchers, upon which She and Dept. went to
one of the Searchers who informed them that she had viewed
the Body. and that it was a fine Corpee, Says that Mrs.
Merritt appeared to have been drinking but was not Drunk
