Informations taken this 31st. day of Decr. 1768
at the Parish of St. Martin in the Fields within
the Liberty of Westmr. in the County of Middlesex
on an Inquisition touching the Death of Elizabeth
Flockton
< no role > lying dead in the said Parish Liberty
and County.

William Norton< no role > of the Strand Surgeon on his Oath saith
That he has Examined the Body of Elizabeth Flockton< no role > the
Deced and found no Marks of Violence upon the Body.

Wm Norton< no role >

Richard Payne< no role > of Coventry Street Apothecary on
his Oath saith, That he was fetched to Elizabeth Flockton< no role >
the Deced on Saturday last (Decr. 24th.) Says that he found
her very ill of a Billions Fever, being very Asthmatie,
and Dept. was then informed that She had been in
a very indifferent State of Health for some time, Says
that he attended Deced every day since, until the time
of her Death, which happened last Thursday Morning,
(Decr. 29.) and Dept. believes that the Deced died in
a natural Way, having had several Convulsion Fits
during her Illness. Says that Mr. Flockton, the Deced's
Husband appeared to be very fond of her, and desired
Dept. to do every thing that he thought necessary for her
Says that Deced did not complain in Depts. hearing
of having reced any ill Treatment from her Husband
or any Body whatever. nor has Dept. any reason to
think that Deced reced any ill Treatment.
