Informations taken this Sixteenth day of
December 1768 at the Parish of St. James within the
Liberty of Westmr . in the County of Middlesex on an
Inquisition touching the Death of Ann Dyson< no role > lying
dead in the said Parish Liberty and County.

Hester Sunderland< no role > Servant to Ann Dyson< no role > the Deced on
her Oath saith, that she has lived with Deced in that Capacity
upwards of nine Months last past, Says that the Deced
lodged all that time in the House of Mrs. Ann Grey< no role > in
Northumberland Court in the Stroud, until about afortnight
ago, when Deced was obliged to quit her Lodging, not being
able to pay Mrs. Guy the Rent, Says that the Deced was then
out of Order and complained of a violent pain in her
Stomach, Says that the Deced and this Dept. lodged one
Night at several other Lodgings, and that on Thursday
Evening the 8th. Instant, between Ten & Eleven o' Clock
the Deced being destitute of a Lodging and walking with
Dept. through Poultney Court in the Parish of St. James
Westmr . when Dept. spoke to Mrs. Brown who keeps a
Green Cellar there (with whom Dept. was acquainted)
and told her the Distress the Deced was in for a Lodging
upon which Mrs. Brown said that the Deced should have
a part of her Bed if she would accept of it, and Deced
thanked Mrs. Brown and went down into the Cellar, and
went into Bed there, Says that she lay there along with
Mr. Joseph Brown< no role > and his Wife, Says that Deced grew
worse, and Dept. on Tuesday last procured a Petition
for her being Admitted into Mr. Bartholomew's Hospital, but
Deced died that Night a little after Twelve o'Clock, being
in Bed with Mr. & Mrs. Brown, and the Dept. also lying
at the feet of the Bed. Says that Mrs. & Mrs. Brown took
great care of the Deced, nor did she receive any ill
Treatment from any other Person to Depts. Knowledge, and
says that she verily believes that the Deced died a natural
Death, and that there are no Marks of violence upon her Body
