appeared at times confused and looked wild
in so much that he has often been apprehensive that
the Deced would destroy himself and this Dept. says that
there was no Person above Stairs with Deced at the time the Pistol was
discharged.

Thomas Gore< no role > of Berkley Square Esqr . on his Oath saith, That he
was sent out [..] this Morning to get a Bank Note Changed
for his Brother Mr. Gore, when he left in the Parlour with
the Deced, Say, that he returned in about ten minutes
and found Mr. Gore in the Parlour above, who told Dept. that
the Deced was gone up Stairs, and said that he was afraid
the Deced would destroy himself, and desired Dept. to call
him down, which he did twice, and Deced at the top of
the Stairs answered that he would come presently, Says
that in about a Minute he heard the Report of a Pistol
above Stairs, upon which he (apprehending what had
happened went out to fetch a Surgeon who came
immediately and went up Stairs to Deced. but Dept
did not go up. Says that the Deced has appeared to
be uneasy, and disturbed in his Mind & Cooked very wild
for some time particularly for two months last past say,
that the Deced has said to Dept. that he was an unfortunate
Man and that he had had great Troubles.

Robert Chamberlain< no role > Servant to Charles Orlando Gore Esqr
or his Oath saith, That he was sent by his Master this day
[..] between Eleven & Twelve o'Clock to get the Horses
ready for Mr. Gore, who intended going into the Countrey,
leaving his Master, his two Brothers and a Maid Servant
in the House, Says that Mr. Gore in about a Quarter of
an hour came to the Stables to Dept. and tole him that
he believed Mr. Pastroff had shot himself and ordered Dept.
to go home immediately, which he did and found Mr Burnet
and two other Men there, whom Dept, shewed up Stairs
into Deced Room, where he saw the Deced lying dead on his
Back on the Floor and a great deal of Blood on the Floor
about him and upon his Clothes, says that he observed
a Wound on the Deced's left [..] Breast, and found a
Pistol with the Stock broke on the Floor near the Deced
Feet, Says that there was a great deal of Smoke in the
Room and a strong smell of Gunpowder, and Dept. believes
that the wound in Deced's Breast was reced by the
Discharge of the said Pistol, and that he let off the Pistol
himself.

Oath saith, That he has known the Deced about fourteen years
and used to see him frequently, Says that the Deced
had generally a Wild look, but that he had seen him [..]
Melancholy, and believes that the Deced was at times
disordered in his Sensex
