An Inquisition indented taken for Our Sovereign Lord the KING at the Gate house Prison situate in the Parish of St Margaret
within in the City & Liberty of Westmr in the County of Middlesex the Seventeenth Day of of December in the Seventh Year of the
Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third, by the Grace of God of Great-Britain, France, and Ireland, KING, Defender of the
Faith, Etc. before Thomas Prickard< no role > Gentleman Coroner of Our said Lord the
KING for the Said City Liberty on View of the Body of Thomas Leason
then and there lying dead, upon the Oath of John Grainger< no role > , Robert Bigby< no role >
George Davis< no role > , James Wilde< no role > , John Finlayson< no role > , Alexander Gordon< no role > , William Eavitt< no role > , Robert Trickett< no role > ,
John Ellis< no role > , Robert Perryman< no role > , Joseph Moore< no role > and John Dowlman< no role >

Good and lawful Men of the Said Liberty duly chosen as by law in required, and who being then and there duly sworn and charged to enquire
for Our said Lord the KING, when, how, and by what Means the Said Thomas Leeson< no role >
came to his Death, do upon their Oath say, That the said Thomas Leeson< no role > being a Prisoner in the Gatehouse
Prison aforesaid, in the Parish City Liberty and County aforesaid, on the Sixteenth day of
December in the Year aforesaid, at the Gatehouse Prison aforesaid,. departed this Life by
the Visitation of God, in a natural Way, to wit, of of a Fever, and not otherwise
In Witness whereof as well the said Coroner, as the said John Granger< no role > Foreman of
the said Jurors on the behalf of himself and the rest of his said Fellows, in their presence,
have to this Inquisition set their Hands and Seals the Day Year and Place first above written
