the Deced was Sober and very well when he went into
the Buildings, Says that she neither saw or heard any
other Person in the Buildings.

Mary King< no role > the Wife of John King< no role > of Lambert's Mews on her
Oath saith, That she supped with Deced & his wife at the Red Lyon
in Charges Street on Saturday Night last, Says that they went
home a little after twelve o' Clock, when Deced & his Wife went
into the Yard and Dept. went into her own Room Says that
she heard Deced ask his wife for the Key of the Building, and that
in about twenty Minutes after Mrs. Rivers came to Dept, and
desired her to go with her to the Buildings, for that her Husband
or some other Person had fallen down there, Says that she
went, and that they found the Deced lying there at the bottom
of the Stairs with his face downwards, bleeding at his Nose
and left Ear, Says that the Deced was not Sensible and unable
to move himself, Says that a Watchman was fetched who
assisted to carry the Deced into his Room where Deced was
Put into Bed, Says that he was bled by a Surgeon who said
that he was assleep, and that he saw no Danger, Says that she
went home about three o' Clock yesterday Morning, and
that Mrs. Rivers came to Dept. about five o' Clock and
acquainted her that Deced was Dead Says that the Deced
was well and sober when she left him about twelve o' Clock
and believes that his Death was caused by the fall in the
House abovementioned, and this Dept. says that she saw
no other Person in the House.
