of Groom, in his Oath saith, That he has lived with Mr. Thomas

upwards of four Years last past and that Thomas

the Deced likewise lived there above two Years as Under Butler Says
that he and the Deced have been with said Master in Yorkshire
for three months last past and upwards and that the Deced
during great part of that him complained of a violent pain or Noice in his Head
Says that he came to said Master's Hour in Barkley Square last Saturday Afternoon
with the Deced, and that they wenttoup StairsBedin the
about Eight o'Clock and went into two different Beds in the
same Garret, no other Person lying there, Says that about
four o'Clock yesterday Morning (the 19th. Instant) Dept. awaked
with the Noise of the last of the Garret Window being
pulled down (as Dept. believe) upon which Dept. called out
and having no answer, he is about a Minute got out of
Bed and on looking through the Garret window saw the
Deced lying [..] his Back upon the Stone Pavement
in the Backyard upon which Deponent went down Stairs and
acquainted Mr. Easter the Butler therewith, Says that they
immediately called in two of the Watchman who went
Deced, And that this Dept. says that there was no Person in
the Room with him and Deced, And says that the Deced
lay with Dept. at Stevenage on Friday Night and that he had two or three for
that Night in Bed and was low Spirited, and that he continued
so on Saturday.
