Thomas Briant< no role > one of Watchman of the Parish of St. George
Hanover Square until Oath saith, that a little after he had
called the hour of four yesterday Morning Mr. Eaten Butler
to Mr. Thornhill called to Dept. upon which he went to Wm.
Thornhill
< no role > 's House in Backley Square , Says that he was
shewn into the Back yard and there found the Deced lying
upon the Stone pavement, with the right side of his Head of
his Headagainst the Stone pavement Says that he observed no Signs
of Life in the Deced and believes that he was Dead, and
that there was much Blood upon his Head and upon the Pavemt.
and that the Deced was quite Naked, Says that he afternoon
saw a Wound upon the Right side of Deced's Head.

Square on his Oath saith, that on Saturday last in the
Afternoon Thomas Peirce< no role > the Under Butler & Richard
Keats
< no role > the Groom come to Town from Yorkshire Says that
the Deced appeared to be very indifferent and laps Spirited and that he
told Dept. that his Master ordered him to get Advice
that he went to a Doctor in order to not Advice for Deced Says that about four o'Clock
yesterday Morning Richard Keats< no role > a naked Depont and
informed him that the Deced lay in the Back yard upon
which two Watchman [..] called in, who went into the
Yard with Dept. and [..] the Deced there being Dead as
Dept. believes, and much Blood about his Head. And this
Dept. says that about two months ago, the Deced got out of
his own Bed, and came to Depts. Bedside about two o'Clock in
the Morning, saying that he shod. Die, and that the virgin
Mary had drawn a Circle round him and that he should be
saved and that he continued in that way the remainder of the
Night, Says that he believes the Deced was at that time Disordered
in his Senses, and that the Deced to be Dept. on Saturday as Night
that he was troubled with his old Disorder or Charles Eaton< no role >
