the Bed like the Rathing of a Person's Throat, upon which
he went to the Bedside (the Curtains being drawn round the
Bed) and saw the Deced lying on his rightside on the Bed
bleading very much from a Wound on the right side of
his Neck, and that there was a Great deal of Blood
on the Bed cloaths and on the Floor, Says that the Nurse
was called, and soon after Mr. Nevinson was fetched, who
fell the Deced's Rule, and said that the Deced could not
recover, Says that Mr. Nevinson found a Razor by the
Deced's Beside Bloody, and Dept. believes that the
Deced gave himself the Wound in the Neck with the Razor,
which was the Cause of his Death

Mary Hammond< no role > on her Oath saith That she has Named
the Deced almost a fortnight last past, says that the Deced
was for the most part very Melancholy and low spirited
and one day said in Deponent's hearing, "Lord Teach me
the shortest way to put an End to my days, or my Life,
Says that the Deced was very restless and uneasy this
Morning about six oClock upon which she called up
James Griem, asho staid with this Dept. by the Deced's Bedords
until about Eight o'Clock when they went to Break fast
in the Dining roon adjoining to the Bed chamber, says that leaving the deced [..] Bed Sleep of Dept. thought
when they had Breakfasted Dept. went to Deced and
saw the Deced lying on his Back in Bed a wake, says
that she wentback and said Griem into the Bedchamber
says that in about two Minutes said James Griem
called out, Nurse, my Master is dying, upon which
Deponent went there and saw Deced lying on his Bed
on his side, Says that she saw the Deced bleed,very
much, upon which she fetched Mr. Nevinson on the
Apothecary . Says that the Deced died in about
a Quarter of an hour, and Deponent believes that
the Deced. Killed himself.
