Informations taken this Fifteenth day of July
1766 at the Parish of St Clement Danes within the
Liberty of

Elizabeth Burford< no role > of Carey Street in the Parish of St. Clement
Danes (Mother of Elizabeth Burford< no role > the Deced) on her Oath saith
that she this Dept. was going yesterday in the Afternoon about
five o'Clock along Fleet Street near to Temple Barr, the Street
in that port being now paving, Says that she had the Deced in
her Arms, Says that a piece of Woodcamefell down and know
this Depodt. down, and the Deced, in the footway, Says that a
Man (whom Dept. did not Know) fell down at the same time,
Says that she observed that the Deced had reced a Hurt
in the Head, but Dept. is not certain whether it was from
the piece of Wood or by the fall on the Ground but thinks it was four the wood Says that
the Deced was carried to an Apothecary there who bled the
Deced on the side of her Neck, Says that she brought the Child home
that she continued to Bleed very much at the Nose
Says that a Surgeon was fetched, who ordered a Pouthice
to be put to the Deced's head, but the Deced died about
Seven o'Clock yesterday Evening before the Pouthic was and [..] and head and Dept. believes that
the Hurt which Deced reced on the Head in Fleet street
as abovementioned was the cause of her Death

saith That yesterday between three and four o'Clock in
the Afternoon (as Dept believes) he was in his House what
the Deced was brought to him, Says that he Examined
the Deced and found a Bruise on her left Temple and
which extended all over the left side of Deced's Head, Says
