Mary Maples< no role > Servant to Mrs. Sawkwell a fodger with Mr. Mackie on her Oath saith
that last Saturday Morning about nine o'Clock Maria Barff< no role >
has fellowMr Mackiess Servant came down Stairs and told Dept. that she
was afraid the Deced was hanging, upon which the Deced Mr.
Mackie and said Maria went up Stairs and Dept. Same the
Deced hanging by a Garter which was put oner the Top of his
Bedchamber Door and tied about the Deceds Neek, Says that She Cut
the Garter and that the Deced was laid upon the Floor, Says that
the Deced was Shift and Cold and had been Dead some time
