Informations of Witness taken this Fifth day of
April 1765 at the Parish of St. George Hanover
Square within the Liberty of Westmr. in the County
of Middlesex on an Inquisition taken on View
of the Body of John Liptrott< no role > lying Dead in the
said Parish Liberty and County.

Thomas Crawley< no role > Servant to Mrs. North and Partners
Brewers at Battle Bridge Southwark on his Oath saith That
on Wednesday last about ten o'Clock in the Morning Dept.
and other Servants of Mrs. North had been starting Beer at
Chelsea , Says that on their Return home John Liptrott< no role > the
Deced being riding on the Shaft of one of the Empty Drays drawn
by three Horses, near the Water works at Punilico in the
Parish of St. George Hanover Square Dept. being then riding
upon another Dray Following the Deced, Says that he
observed the Horses in the Dray on which the Deced rode [..]
Start, and come towards, Says that immediately after
Dept. saw the Deced lye in the Road upon which he stop
his Horse and went to Deced and found his Head very
Bloody and some Brains (as Dept. believes) lying upon
the Ground the Deced being motionless, and Dead as
Dept. thinks, Dept. says that he did not see the Deced fall
but believes that he fell backwards between the shaft
Horse and the Fore Plank, and that the off wheel did pass
over the right side of the Deceds I lead whereby his
Shull was fractured which was the came of his Death
Says that the three Horses and the Dray which the
Deced drove, were the Property of Mrs.MaryNorth
and Partners as Dept. believes.
