To Wit. }
An Inquisition Indented taken for Our Sovereign Lord the KING at the Gate house Prison situate in the Parish of St. Margaret in the City of Westmr. in the County of Middlesex the 28th. Day of March in the Fifth Year of the
Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third, by the Grace of God of Great-Britain, France, and Ireland, KING, Defender of the
Faith Etc. before Thomas Prickard< no role > Gentleman Coroner of our said Lord the
KING, for the said City & Liberty on View of the Body of Edward Endaresly< no role > a Prisoner
then and there lying dead, upon the Oath of Richard Armitage< no role > , Henry
Powell
< no role > , Robert Dunn< no role > , John Jagleman< no role > , William Bonnick< no role > , Richard James< no role > , George
Newton
< no role > , George Davies< no role > , John Carmichael< no role > , Joseph Cupelo< no role > , Robert Ellis< no role > and Thomas Hudson< no role >
good lawful Men of the said Liberty duly chosen as by law is required, and who being then and there duly Sworn and charged to enquire
for Our said Lord the KING, when, how, and by what Means the said Edward Endaresly
came to h is Death, do upon their Oath say, That the said Edward Endaresly being a Prisoner in the Goal or
Prison aforesaid called the Gatehouse situate in the Parish aforesaid within the City
Liberty and County aforesaid, on the Twenty fifth day of March in the Year aforesaid,
at the Goal and Prison aforesaid, departed this Life, by the Visitation of God, in a natural
way, and not otherwise. In Witness whereof as well the said Coroner as the
said Richard Armitage< no role > Foreman of the said Jurors, on the behalf of himself and the
rest of his said Fellows, in their presence, have to this Inquisition set their Hands and
Seals, that Day Year and Place first above written
