Informations taken this 28th. day of March 1765
at the Gate house Prison in the Parish
of St. Margaret within the City and Liberty of Westmr.
in the County of Middlesex on an Inquisition taken
on View of the Body of Edward Endaresly< no role > a Prisoner
lying Dead in the said Prison

Richard Endaresly< no role > a Prisoner in the Gate house Prison
and Brother to the Deced on his Oath saith That Edward
Endaresly by the Deced was brought with Dept. Prisoner to
said Prison about the fifth day of this Instant being charged
with Stealing a Dog's Collar, Says that the Deced was not well
at that time and had complained of some Inward Dise [..]
for a Month before, Says that Deced continued to be
ill ever since Says that on Sunday Night last Deced
said that he felt a violent pain in the bottom of his
Belly Says that Deced continued ill on Monday
last and Died between Eight and Nine o Clock that
Evening Dept. Says that he neverheardlaw the Keeper
of the Prison or his Servants or any of his Fellow
Prisoners use the Deced ill nor did he ever hear
the Deced complain of any ill Treatment Reced
from any Body in said Prison Dept. Says that he
verily believes that the Deced died a Natural
Death

on his Oath saith that he has been there about three
weeks last past and during that time was in the same
ward with the Deced and used to see him every Day
Says that the Deced was in a very low state of Health
and complained of his Bowels, Says that Deced
