Anthony Motley< no role > Victualler at the City of London in Peter Street on his Oath
saith that on Monday left about seven o'Clock in the afternoon
Dept was standing at Mr Harman's Door in Peter Street when
Mr Thomas Smith< no role > a Baker came out of his own House and said
that a Chimney Sweeper's Boy was struck in his Flue and that
the Boy's Master was gone to fetch another Boy to pull him out
Says that the other Boy came there immediatly, and went
up into the Flue, says that the Boy informed Dept that he found
the Deced's Leather Jacket rolled up, and that he got it smooth,
but could not get the Deced down, says that the Boy came
down and that Mr, Duxon ( Master to the Deced) forced himself
into the Flue and pulled the Deced put, but Dept observed no
sign od Life in him, says that a Man bled him, but he bled
Dept says that he proposed to Mr Smith the Baker to open the
Flue but Mr. Smith said that Dept could not get at it and
that the Flue was not broke opened
