Informations of Witnesses taken this
fourteenth day of January 1764 at the
Parish of St. George Hanover Square , before
Thomas Prickard< no role > his Majesty's Coroner for
the City and Liberty of Westmr. in the County
of Middlesex , touching the Death of a New born
Female Child then and there lying Dead, as follow

Elizabeth Ford< no role > Servant to the Right Honoble Lady Tyrconnet
in Curzon Street in the Parish of St. George Hanover Square
within the Liberty of Westmr. in the Capacity of House keeper
on her Oath saith that on Wednesday last Ann Gascoine< no role > look
to Lady Tyrconnel was taken ill, and in the Afternoon
grew worse, says that she ordered Ann Gascoine to go to
bed that Evening between six & seven O'Clock, says that
said Ann Gascoine informed Deponent that she was
better the next Morning, but that said Ann Gascoine
laid in Bed all that Day, being Thursday, Deponent says
that she ordered said Ann Gascoine some Sack When
that Evening upon her complaining that she was Dry,
Deponent says that on her going into the Laundrey
on friday Morning last about Eleven O'Clock, she found
said Ann Gascoine sitting by the Fire there, says that
the Servants were Ironing there and Wet Cloaths hanging
before the Fire, Deponent thought it an improper place for
said Ann Gascoine to be in, and ordered her to go into
Deponents Room, says that said Gascoine came there soon
after, Deponent says that Ann Bell< no role > one of the House
Maids, told her that she suspected something and [..]
was the Matter with Ann Gascoine< no role > , Deponent thereupon
asked her the said Ann Gascoine if shehad Miscarried
was Married, and Charged her with having Miscarried,
to which said Ann Gascoine replied that she had not
miscarried, and that Deponent wronged her much, Deponent
says that she was then informed by Ann Bell< no role > that said
Ann Gascoine< no role > that Morning took her Chamber pot down
Stairs, and Deponent was also informed by Sarah Godsby< no role >
