Informations taken this Eighth day of
September 1763 at the Parish of St. Margaret in
the City and Liberty of Westmr . in the County of
Middlesex on an Inquisition taken on View
of the Body of Sarah< no role > the Wife of John
Deacon
< no role > lying Dead in the said Parish

John Frith< no role > of Dean's Yard within the Close of the Dean
and chapter of Westmr. Capinet Maker on his Oath saith
that he is Brother to the Deced, and that about a Year
ago John Deacon< no role > Husband to the Deced came to him and
desired him to come to his Sister (Decon's Wife) who he
said was low Spirited and used frequently to be
Melancholy, says that upon his coming to Deced she
told him that she believed she should make away with
herself, and that she used when she was Melancholy to
read, but she refused to assign any Coince for her
being Melancholy, says that he has frequently seen
the Deced afterwards and says that he found her
for the most part Melancholy and low Spirrted, and
says thathe verily thathe verily believes the Deced
was at Intervals disordered in her Sences.

Mary Pawley< no role > of Axe Yard in the Parish of St.
Margaret Westmr . the Wife of Alexander Pawley< no role > Surgeon
on her Oath Saith, that she lodged with Deced five months
and left her lodging the first day of this Instant Septr.
and that she during that time every day saw the Deced
and that Deced informed her that he had twice intended
to destroy herself last Winter, That she acquainted her
Husband with her intention, and that he preventedher
at that time, Deponent says that for a fortnight last
past she observed Deced to be Melancholy, but refused
