met with of not being appointed Head Treasure to Derby
Lane Theatre as he expected and that the Accounts of the Henry confused him says that on Thursday
night last Deced came home and staid about half an
hour with Deponent, who asked Deced Several Question
to which his made very little Anwer, but there were
very incoherent and foreign, says that the Deced believe
very different from what it was nead to be and verily
believes that the deced was not then in his right Senses

John Cundell< no role > of Cross Court, on his Oath saith Yesterday
Morning between ten & Eleven o'Clock on Mr. Peter Burn< no role >
coming to him and saying he feared that some thing had
happened to Mr. Wood the Deced he immediately came
with Mr. Burn to the Deced Lodging where he found
the Key on the outside of the Door in the Key hole, the
Door being factaned on the inside says that with the
Assistance of Mr. Burn Deponent burst open the Door
with his foot and went into the Room, Upon which
he immediately discovered the Deced hanging at the feet
of his Bed in a back room by a small Cord Fastened
to a hook fixed in the Ceiling says that depot cut the
Cord and laid the Deced on the Bed, that the Deced had
no Pulse and Deponent believes was then Dead
says that he Frequently saw the Deced who complained
of same hard ship in Drury Lane Theatre and observed
that Deced had been Melancholy and Low Spirited for
about six weeks last past, that he daily grew worse
and verily believes the Deced was not in his right
Senses.
