Says he went to the Room his maid directed him to,
and found the deced hanging by a Cord Fastened to
a Brass Hook served into the Wainscot, his face
being to the Wainscot, and his Feet be twicel two
Chairs, but not touching the Ground, says he
lifted the deced from the Hook, and by the Waids
assistance laid him down on the Ground, and the
Cord being Cooee lift it about his neck says he is
certain the deced was dead, and therefore be sent for
no assistance. says the deced came last Monday to
lodge at Deptr [..] House, for the Benefit of the Air
being in an ill State of Health says that upon
Account of his Illness dept. agreed that Mary
Holmes
< no role > the Dept. Servant should set up with him
says he never had any Conversation with deced and
is a Stranger to him.

John Young< no role > of Jews Row Chelsea Tallow Chandler
on his Oath saith that he has known the deced about
four Years, and his Brother John Philpot< no role > about
six Years. says that his Brother John informed this
Dept. that the deced had been is an Ill state of
Health about three Months and Particularly
about a fortnight ago, said John Philpot< no role > informed
Dept. that his Brother was very ill of a parylictic
Fever and often times delicious.

John Philpot< no role > of the Hay Market Gents on his Oath
Saith that by the appreciationadvice ofa Physician his Brother
was brot. to the Kings Head Pimlico for the Benefit
of the Air, on last Monday. Says that he had a
Rhenmatic Fevor, says while deced lodged in
Swallow Street which was [..] the last Ledgias of
deced before his Removal, he was frequently delicious,
and on Account of the Leberty of his Illness used to be
constantly attended says that last Wednesday Morning
Mrs. Swan is discourse with Dept. informed Dept
that she believed the deced was Lunatic says that he
solders wissed a Day seeing his Brother and was very
sensible of his Insanity.

Saith that Yesterday Morning her Fellow Servt.
Mary Came down Stairs and informed Dept. that
the deced was hanged and desired Dept. to go for her
Master says she went accordingly, and he came
directly and went up Stairs but Dept. did not fellow
him.

Brother to the deced or his Oath Saith that
Yesterday Morning betwixt nine and ten his came
to Mr. Swans to see his Brother and Spote to Mary
Holmes
< no role > one of the Maids who went up Stairs with
Dept. to his Brothers Room, and on not seeing his Brother
she and rewad the Bed Curtains and upon his not being
on the Bed the Maid went out of the Room to see for
the deced leaving Dept. in the Room, says she came
back to Dept. in great confusion without -Speaking
upon which he went to the Door and discovered his
Brother hanging in another Room upon the same Flo [..]
upon which the maid ran down stairs and Dept. in a
great Fright and Confusion returned to his Brothers
Room. And is certain his Brother had been Sometime
out of his Mind.
