Liberty duly chosen, and who being then and there duly Sworn and charged to inquire for our said
Lord the King, when how and by what means the said

came to her Death, Do upon
then Oath say, That the said

not having the fear of God before her Eyes but being
moved and seduced by the Instigation of the Devil, on the thirtieth day of April in the
Year aforesaid with Force and Arms at the Parish aforesaid in the City and County
aforesaid , in and upon herself feloniously wilfully and of her Malice fore thought did
make an Assault, and that the said

one End of a certain Cord of no Value, to a
certain Iron Holdfast in the Wall of the Lodging Room of her the said

dwelling House of

situate in Duck Lane
in the Parish aforesaid in the City
and County aforesaid, and the other End thereof about her Neck feloniously wilfully
and of her malice fore thought did tye and fasten, And herself the said Elizabeth with the
Cord aforesaid then and there feloniously wilfully and of her Malice fore thought did
hangs suffocate choak and strangle, Of which said hanging suffocating choaking and strangling

then and there instantly dyed; And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their
Oath aforesaid do say, that the said

herself in manner and form aforesaid
feloniously wilfully and of her malice fore thought did Kill and Murder, against the Peace of
our said Lord the King his Crown and Dignity. In Witness whereof as well
