to wit

An Inquisition Indented and taken at the Parish of St. John the
Evangelist in the City of Westminster within the Liberty of the Dean and Chapter of the Collegiate Church
of St. Peter at Westminster the Second day of June in the thirty third Year of the Reign of our Sovereign
Lord George the Second by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the faith
and so forth, and in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and sixty Before John Feary< no role > Coroner
for our Sovereign Lord the King for the City and Liberty of Westminster aforesaid, Upon a View of the Body of
Samuel Coast< no role > then and there lying Dead by the Oaths of Peter Wyatt< no role > , William Beddow< no role > , John Smith< no role > ,
John Spiller< no role > , Joseph Metford< no role > , Robert Curtis< no role > , Thomas Hopkins< no role > , William Gosling< no role > , Francis Norris< no role >
John Thompson< no role > , Henry Loader< no role > , Francis Fleet< no role > , James Lloyd< no role > , and Thomas Townsend< no role >
Good and Lawfull Men of the said City and Liberty who being Sworn and Charged to Esquire for our Sovereign
Lord the King how when where and in what manner the said Samuel Coast< no role > came to his Death, say upon their
Oaths. That on Monday the 26th, day of May last about the hour of Five of the Clock in the afternoon
the said Samuel Coast< no role > being employed about the Works carrying on at London Bridge , and being on one a Platform near
of the Sterlings of the said Bridge it so happened that his Feet slipt and he fell from off the said Platform [..] into
the River of Thames by which slipping [..] and falling he was then and thereby Drowned And so the
said Jurors aforesaid upon their Oaths aforesaid do say that the said Samuel Coast< no role > in manner and form
aforesaid unfortunately and accidentally by his Death came, and not otherwise. In Witness whereof
as well the said Coroner as the Foreman of the Jurors aforesaid have to this Inquisition put their
hands and Seals the day Year and at the Place abovesaid.
