in October 1793 and was Sentenced to be Transported 7 Years he was removed on Board the Lion Hulk at Portsmouth
March 13. 1794 Vide Octr. Calendar No. 32 White he was on Board the Lion a Murder was Committed and Barnes received the Kings free Pardon in Order that he might give Evidence which he did and the Murderers were Executed. he was also tried for Robbing Rutten and Chambers at Charing Cross
of a great quantity of Bank notes and acquitted he was a very notorious Pick Pocket
