County of Middlesex for assaulting and Beating the said
Sarah Gyde< no role > the above named Defendant and which
said Indictment appeared to be found at the Sessions
for the County of Middlesex in July last And this
Deponent further Saith that the said Warrant
appears to be issued and bears date the Eighteenth
day of October Instant And this Deponent further
Saith that he hath every just reason to believe the
Cause of this Deponents wife being taken on the
Said Warrant is for the sole purpose of preventing
her from appearing this Morning to give her evidence
against the said Sarah Gyde< no role > And this
Deponent Lastly Saith that he hopes this
Worshipfull Court will order the Trial to be
postponed until the next Sessions.
