WHEREAS His Majesty< no role > has been pleased in pursuance
of an Act of Parliament, intituled, An Act to continue until the
First Day of August One thousand eight hundred, and until the
End of the then next Session of Parliament, and amend an Act, made
in the Thirty-third Year of the Reign of His present Majesty, in-
tituled, 'An Act for establishing Regulations respecting Aliens
'arriving in this Kingdom, or resident therein, in certain Cases,'
to authorize and empower, by Warrant under His Majesty< no role > 's
Sign Manual, John King< no role > and William Wickham< no role > Esquires , Two
of His Majesty< no role > 's Under Secretaries of State, and Charles William< no role >
Flint Esquire , of Crown Court , Westminster , or any One of them,
as they shall think fit, and according to the Instructions they
shall receive from His Majesty< no role > , or from any of His Principal
Secretaries of State, to grant, by Instrument under their Hand
and Seal, His Majesty< no role > 's Royal Licence to reside within this
Kingdom , to any Alien or Aliens who shall apply for the same;
such Licence to be either absolute, without Restriction or Limi-
tation of Time, or under, and subject to, such Restrictions or
Conditions, and with such Limitation of Time and other Cir-
cumstances, as according to the said Act of Parliament, and in
Conformity to such Instructions as aforesaid, shall appear to
them, or such One or more of them, by whom such Licence
shall be granted, to be fit and proper: I do hereby in pursuance
