THE Examination of Sarah Hootton Aged
17 Years a
Rogue and Vagabond apprehended by Thomas Jones< no role >
wandering and begging
in the Parish of St. George Hanover Square in the
Liberty of Westminster and brought before me one
of his Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the Peace for the City and Liberty
aforesaid. And taken before
me this 26th Day of October

in the Year of our Lord 1767, This Examinant
On her Oath saith she never was an Apprentice
Servant for a year or Householder was Born at
Lourton in the County of Buckingham That her
Father as she has been Informed served an
Apprenticeship to Mr. Steemson a Taylor in the
Parish of Aspley near Woshburn in the County
of Beford and did not after Rent any House
Etc but Exlisted for a Soldire
