Corant who likewise goods by the Name of Clavering at large and walking publickly in the Strand in the
Parish of St. Martin in the Fields aforesaid And this Dept.
Richard Walklett< no role > Saith that he this Dept. and did about Noon on
the 20th day of this Instant October serve Mr. Samuel Attersell< no role >
the keeper of Tothill Fields Bridewell with a Notice in
Writing purporting that the Court of General Quarter Session
of the Peace for the City and Liberty of Westminster would be
moved as this day that a Fine might be set upon him for
illegally discharging out of his Custody Jane Corant comitted
the 23d day of September last by Thomas Balack< no role > Esqr . one
of his Majesties Justices of the Peace for the Said City and
Liberty.
