the Peace of the Parish St. Martin in the of Fields with in
the Liberty of Westminster in of the County of Middx and also to the Gover-
nour or Master of the House of Correction , at Tothill Fields
within the said Liberty of Westminster and likewise to all
Governours or Masters of all Houses of Correction whom it may con-
cern to receive and convey; and to the Church-wardens, Chapel-
wardens, or Overseers of the Poor of the Parish, Place, or Pre-
cinct of St. Nicholas in the City of Bristoll in the of County's of Gloucester
& Somerset for one of them or either of them, to receive and obey

WHEREAS Catherine Aleburton aged near [..] forty years Widow of John
Aleburton

apprehended in the Parish of St. Martin in the Fields
within the Liberty of Westminster in the County of Middlesex as Rogue and
Vagabond and brought before me one of his Majesty< no role > 's Justices of
the Peace of this Liberty and upon Examination of the said
Catherine Aleburton< no role >
taken before me upon Oath, it doth
appear that she is a
Rogue and Vagabond within the true Intent
and Meaning of the Statute in that Case made and provided; and that the
Parish of St. Nicholas in the City of Bristoll in the County's of Gloucester
& Somerset or one of them is the place of the last legal settlement of the
said Catherine aleburton< no role >

THESE are therefore to require you the said Constable s [..]
[..] , or other Officer of the Peace to convey the said Catherine
Aleburton
to the House of Correction at Tothill Fields in the said Liberty
and you the said Governour or Master of the said House of Cor-
rection, to receive the said Catherine Aleburton< no role > into
your Custody, and her to convey or cause to be conveyed
to the first House of Correction in the next County or Place in the direct
Way to the said Parish or Town of St. Nicholas in the City of Brastell in the County's
of Gloucester & Somerset or one of them
and in like Manner, every other Governour or Master of every House of
Correction to whom it may belong to convey the said Catherine Aleburton< no role >

from House of Correction to House of Correction , until she
shall arrive at the House of Correction belonging to the County,
Riding , City, Borough, Town-Corporate, Division, or Liberty, to which
the said Parish, Town, or Place of St. Nicholas in the City of Bristoll in the County's
of Gloucester &Somerset or one of them doth belong; and the
Master of Governour of the House of Correction last mentioned, to
convey and deliver, or cause to be conveyed and delivered, the said Catherine
Aleburton< no role > to some Church-warden, Chapel-
warden, or Overseer of the Poor of the Parish or Town of St. Nicholas in the City of
Bristoll in the Countys of Gloucester & Somerset or, one of them to be there provided for accord-
ing to Law: And you the said Church-wardens, Chapel-warden and over-
seers of the Poor are hereby required to receive the said Person and provide
for her as aforesaid GIVEN under my Hand and Seal this
Eighteenth Day of September in the Year of Our Lord
One thousand Seven hundred and forty two.
