To wit.


To the Constable, Headborough , Tythingman, and other Officers of the
Peace of the Parish of St. Margaret Westmr in
the County of Middlesex and also to the Gover
nor or Master of the House of Correction , at TothillFeilds
within the said Parish and likewise to all
Governors or Masters of all Houses of Correction whom it may con-
cern to receive and convey; and to the Church-wardens, Chapel-wardens,
or Overseers of the Poor of the Parish, Place, or Precinct of Bow
in the City & County of Durham or either
of them, to receive and obey.

WHEREAS Elizabeth Bell< no role > Singlewoman
aged upwards of Twenty Three Years was
apprehended in the Parish of St. Margaret
Westminster as a [..]
Vagabond and brought before Me One of his Majesty< no role > 's Justices of
the Peace for this City and Liberty and upon Examination of the said
Elizabeth Bell< no role > [..]
taken before me upon Oath, it doth
appear that she is a [..] Vagabonds within the true Intent
and Meaning of the Statute in that Case made and provided, and that the
last Legall place of Settlement of the said Elizabeth
Bell
< no role > as in the said Parish of Bow in the City & County
of Durham

THESE are therefore to require you the said Constable , Headborough
Tythingman, or other Officer of the Peace , to convey the said
Elizabeth Bell< no role > in the next direct way
to the House of Correction at Tothill Feilds in the sd. Parish of St.
Margaret and you the said Governor or Master; of the said House of Cor-
rection, to receive the said Elizabeth Bell< no role > into
your Custody, and her to convey or cause to be conveyed
to the first House of Correction in the next County or Place in the direct
way to the said Parish or Town of Bow
and in like Manner, every other Governor or Master of every House of
Correction to whom it may belong to convey the said Elizabeth
Bell from House of Correction to House of Correction until [..] the
[..] shall arrive at the House of Correction belonging to the County,
Riding , City, Borough, Town-Corporal, Division or Liberty, to which
the said Parish, Town, or Place of Bow
doth belong, and the
Master or Governor of the said House of Correction last mentioned, to
convey and deliver or cause to be conveyed and delivered the said
Elizabeth Bell< no role > to some Church-warden Chapel-
warden or Overseer of the Poor of the said Parish or Town of
Bow to be there provided for accord-
ing to Law; and you the said Church-wardens, Chapel-wardens and
Overseers of the Poor , are hereby required to receive the said Person [..]
[..] and provide for [..] her [..] as aforesaid. GIVEN under my
Hands and Seals this 25th Day of April in the Year
of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Forty One
