To the Worshipfull his Majesties Justices of the Peace in the Next Quarter
Sessions of the Peace to be holden for the City & Libty of Westmr. Assembled

Whereas Gabriel Barbanson< no role > Distiller Owner of a Certain house being his now welling house
Scituate Standing and being in two Certain Streets the one Commonly Called on known by the name of
Church Street and the Other Moor Street in the parish of St: Anne within the Libty of Westminster in the
County of Middx Did pursuant to the direcon of an Act of Parliament made in the Eleventh year of
the Reign of his late Majestie King George the first Entitled an act for the better Regulating of Buildings
and to prevent mischeifs that may happen by first within the weekly Bills of Mortality and Other Places
therein menconed name William Nathaniel Marsh< no role > John Danson< no role > Mathers Lowndes< no role > Joseph
Wooton
< no role > Thomas Woodward< no role > George bought< no role > Richard withall Joel Johnson< no role > This name instance is in set 1629. Thomas Miles< no role > Joseph
sage and John Philmore< no role > able workmen to vine two Old partition walls between the said Gabriel Barbanson's
said Dwelling house and two other Houses next adjoyning to the west side of the same, of both which
said adjoyning houses Hugh David of the said parish of St. Anne Victualler is the Owner (He the said
Gabriel Barbanson incenting to pull down and Revived his said Dwelling house and also to
pull down the said partition walls and to build Other party walls instead thereof according to the
Direcons of the Statute in that behalf made) And Whereas the said Hugh Davis< no role > did Likewise in pursuance
of the said first menconed act of Parliament name James Streets and Edward Humphryes< no role >

whose hands are hereunto set being the major part of the said workmen Do hereby in
pursuance of the said first menconed act of Parliament Certifye to this Court That wee
together with the said James Streets< no role > and Edward Humphreys< no role > did this day
meet and view the said old Partition walls between the said Gabriel Barbanson's said Dwelling
house and the said two other houses next adjoining to the same whereof the said Hugh
Davis is owner as aforemencones and wee do hereby also Certifye That the said Partition
walls so viewed are Defective and ruinous and ought to be pulled down In Witness whereof
wee have hereunto set Our hands the Fifteenth day of May [..] in the second year of
the Reign of Our Sovereign Lord George the second by the Place of God of Great
Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith Pr Annoqr Din 1729
