The Information & Examination of Hanna
Smith< no role > taken upon Oath this 19th of July 1729 .

Who Saith that she is about Fourteen Years of Age
and is now an Apprentice to James Gerrard< no role > of More
feilds & Mary his Wife, that about Easter last
her Master & Mistress gave her leave to [..] go to
Westmr. to see her Sister, and that in her way
thither going through the Park She met with one
Winifred Lloyd< no role > with whom She had some former
acquaintance and who after some talk with this
[..] Deponent invited the sd Depont. to come
& see her at her Lodgings in John Street No. 21. that
they then parted and this Depont. want to see her
Sister as She at first proposed and carryed with her
about three hours & then went to Mrs. Lloyds Lodgings
whom She found at home & [..] one Squire [..]
Johnson with her that the Squire was very found of
this Depont. & calld her pretty Girl & desired Mrs.
Lloyd to be kind to her and let her want for nothing
& the Squire himself gave her half a Crown, & badken
come & see Mrs. Lloyd often where She would be made
much of, that about three Weeks after abt five on ye Evening Mrs Lloyd came
to ye Deponants Masters house, but nobody being at
house but ye Maid & this Depont. Mrs Lloyd took this
Dponent out with & carryd her to her [..] lodgings in
John Street [..] aforesaid where they had not been long
but Squire Johnson came in who was very fond of
this Depont. hugguly & Kissing her & repeated his
desire of her coming of ten to see Mrs. Lloyd who should
with her very kindly & gave this Deponent Tenn Shills.
that ye Squire carryd till Tenn o Clock at Night, & this
Depont. carryd & lay with Mrs Lloyd all Night & they
