To His Majesty's Justices of the Peace assembled in their General
Quarter Session of the Peace held for the Liberty of Westmr.
aforesaid.

Memorandum That on the 22d Day of August 1789
last, John Wright< no role > Victualler was brought
before me one of His Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the Peace in and for the
County & Liberty aforesaid, and charged upon the Oath of
Christopher Sheppard< no role > for Profanely Swearing and Cursing
twenty three times on the 21st Day of August last
last, and was thereof Convicted upon the Oath of Christopher
Sheppard aforesaid, and Tissued my warrant to all
Constables, & other his Majesty< no role > 's Officers Wm it might concern
in the parish of St Margaret Westminster where the sd. Offence
was committed thereby commanding them to demand of the sd
John Wright< no role > two Pounds six Shillings for ye use of the Poor [..]
their said parish & if he should refuse to pay the said Su [..]
then they should presently levy the same by distress of his good for
at use aforesaid & in default distress to set him publickly
An the Stocks by the Peace of two whole Hours
pursuant to the Act in that Case made and provided. All which I do
hereby Certify, according to the Directions of the Said Act. Given un-
der my Hand this 22d Day of August Annoq; Dom. 17 19
