THE Condition of this Recognizance is such, That whereas the above-
namedis licensed to keep a Common Ale-
house and Victualling-houe until the 14th. day of February next ensuing the
Date hereof, and no longer, in the House wherein he now dwelleth, at the
Parish ofin the Liberty aforesaid, and not else-
where in the said Liberty: If therefore the saidshall
at all times hereafter, during the continuance of his Licence, keep and maintain
good Order and Rule within his House, and shall keep one or more suf-
ficient Bed or Lodging for Wayfaring Men or Passengers; and shall not permit, or
suffer any Inhabitant or other Person to remain or continue drinking or tipling
in his said House, contrary to Law; nor suffer any Person to sell or utter any
Beer, Ale or Victual, by deputation or colour of his said Licence: Nor
harbour any Rogues, Vagabounds, Masterless, Men or other notorious Offenders,
in his said House, or in any Cut-house, or other place thereunto belonging: Nor
lodge or suffer any person to stay or abide in his said House above one day
and one night, but shall thereof the next day following deliver the true Name
and Sirname of such Persons to one of the Constable or Headboroughs of the
Parish aforesaid unless such as he well knoweth, and will answer for his, her or
their forth-coming. Nor shall buy or take to pawn any Goods of wayfaring
Men, or other suspected Person: Nor suffer any unlawful Game or Games to
be used in his said House: Then the Recognizance shall be void and of none
effect or else shall stand remain and be in tull force and virtue.
