Donation.


The Treasurer Reported a Donation by the President of £100 to
the Hospital.

Ordered

That the thanks of this Court be given to the President for
the same which were given accordingly.

The President then acquainted the Court that a Vacancy
of the Office of Steward to this Hospital had been occasioned by
the death (which had lately happened) of Mr. Samuel Richard
Andrews
< no role > the late Steward thereof.

Mr. Nash chosen
Steward in the
room of Mr. Andrews.

And it being important to the Interest of the Hospital that
a Successor be immediately appointed the Court proceeded to the
Election of such Successor and the Petition of William Nash< no role > was
read praying to be Elected who being the only Candidate was
unanimously chosen to the said Office to held the same during
the Pleasure of the Court from this day with the usual Salary of
£200 Per Annum and a House Etc. And he was called in and
acquainted with his Election.

Subscriptions were recommended by the President towards defrayingn
the Great Expences of this Hospital.
