We have Agreed with Willm: West< no role > to let him the House in St Thomas's
Street (late William Clarke< no role > ) at £20 P Annum (Land Tax allowed) from
Midsummer 1771. The House to be New painted and White washed
at the Expence of the Hospital

We have allowed Thomas Langley< no role > This name instance is in set 1626. the first Years
rent on his Building and repairing Leases of Sundry Houses in Castle
Court Bridge Row .

We have likewise Ordered that the Lease formerly
Granted to John Surret< no role > (but never Executed) be made in the Name of
Thomas Milward< no role > for the remainder of the present Term

Pewsey Estate
Purchased


An Estate at Pewsey in the County of Wilts having
been proposed to your Committee for the Sum of £10.250. and the same
appearing upon Examination and Accurate Estimation of it tobe a very
desirable and advantageous Purchase for the Hospital We thought fitt to
Agree for the same it the above Price. And to direct £13.000 Consolidated
Bank Annuities to be sold to enable us to Effect such Purchase and the
Charges attending the same.

Services to the Hospital for the Year past

Salary increased


We have Ordered that the Receivers Salary
be increased £20 Pr: Annum form last Midsummer on Condition
that he takes no Fees from any of the Tradesmen belonging to the
Hospital

Consider'd


We having taken into Consideration the present
Fees paid for the Admission of Patients and finding that many
Fout People are greatly Distressed in not be able to raise 17s 6d
