Subscriptions were recommended
by Mr. Treasurer towards defraying the great
Charge & Expence of this Hospital

Mr. Treasurer then acquainted this
Court. That the immediate occasion of calling the same
was to Choose a Minister of St. Thomas's Parish in
the room of the Revd. Mr. Hatford deceased. And that
the Grand Committee held the 27th. of May last had made
an Order which He directed the Clerk to Read. And
is as follows Vizt.

Ordered That it be recommended to
the next General Court that the Minister to be chosen
for the said Parish should be obliged to Reside there
on his having a House Provided for him by the Hospl.

And the Court agreeing with the
Committee

Resolved and Ordered That the
Minister now to be Chosen for the said Parish of St.
Thomas Do Reside in the said Parish And that the
Hospital do provide a House for that purpose as soon
as they can conveniently do it
