that the occasion of calling the same, was to choose
an Assistant Physccian to this Hospital in the
Place of Dr. Akenside lately Chosen Physician in
the Room of Dr. Adams who had Resigned.

The Petitions of Dr . John Hadley< no role > and
Dr : Alexander Russell< no role > were severally read, Praying
to be admitted Assistant Physician to this Hospital
in the room of the said Dr: AkensideThe Court
then proceeded to the Election by Ballot for the said
Dr. Hadley & Dr. Russell. And on Casting up the
Bullot it appear'd that the Numbers were for
Dr; Hadley 135. and for Dr. Russell 137. whereupon
the said Dr. Russell was declared duly Elected to the
said Office To hold the same during the Pleasure of
this Court And he was called In and acquainted
with his Election.
