read praying to be admitted surgeon in the room of the said

Place of Surgeon To hold the Same during the Pleasure of this

We taking Notice that Mr. Gale our Steward has behav'd himself
very diligently for the year Past We recomend it to this Court that
he May have a Gratuity of Ten Pounds Paid by Mr. Treasurer for
the last years Service as he has formerly had.
