Hospital in the room of John Smith< no role > who hath resigned.

One of the stone Uras that stood as Ornaments over the Chappell
being in danger of falling and those Uras and also the Sundiall
being a weight on the Building and rather dangerous than usefull
we have caused them all to be taken down.

Prisoners for Dept}

Mrs. Elizabeth Palmer< no role > lately deceased having devised to the
Governours of this Hospital two Farmers at Sabridgworth in Hertford
=shire part Freehold and part Coppyhold In Trust for relieving Poor
Prisoners for Debt We have procured a Conveyance of the Freehold
from her Trustees And the Coppyhold part remains still vested in
those Trustees and is to be Surrendred to such Persons as the
Governors of this Hospital shall direct.

The residue of a Term in
Two Houses in
St Thomas's Street
Purchased of Tho:
Jennings

We apprehending it to be very convenient for the Governours of
this Hospital to have in their power two Houses in St. Thomas's Street
which were held by Thomas Jennings< no role > and Ann< no role > his wife under a Lease
from this Hospital for a terme of 51. Years from Lady day 1702. We
have purchased in the residue of that terme if the said Jennings and
his said wife or either of them shall so long live for £113.10.which is
all their interest in the terme And the several Yearly rents of
£9.2.6 & £9. Payable by the Undertenants of those Houses are
to be paid to this Hospital from Midsummer 1730.

We have agreed to accept of Benjamin Wright< no role > to be Tenant
of Clay Tye Farme in the County of Essex in the room of William
Hamsheir
< no role > for the residue of the Terme therein after an
Assignment shall be made to him of the present Lease.

Grant to John
Jones

We have agreed with John Jones< no role > to grant him a Lease of two
Houses in Fleet Lane (lately held by Priscilla Goddrad< no role > ) for a terme
of 21. Years from Lady day 1731. At the Yearly rent of £12. tax free
without Fine in Consideration of his putting the premisses into
substantial repair at his own charge.

Grant to Sarah
Brown

We have agreed with Sarah Brown< no role > to grant her a Lease of
the Bowling Green House at Hackney with the Bowling green
and the Gravell pit field and the field over against it exclusive
of the Sand pit field and the Ground formerly let to Alud Denn
And she is to maintain and keep clean the foot way from the
Bowling green House to Mourning Lane for a terme of 21. Years
from Midsummer 1730. At the Yearly rent of £28. tax free
without fine And a liberty is reserved for the Governours to
enjoy dig and carry away the Gravell from the late Bowling
Bare and the field wherein it stood.

Six Houses in Little
Distaff Lane repaird}


Severall Persons making proposals for a Lease of Six
Houses in Little Distaff Lane lately held by Henry Wise< no role > Esqr .
under a Lease expiring at Michas 1730. which in our Opinions
were too low We therefore caused the said six Houses to be
repaired at the Hospitals charge in order to let the same to
Tenants at Will.

A House in Pater
noster Row repaird}


We have likewise caused the House in Pater noster Row
late in Mr. Farrows possession to be repaired at the Hospl.
charge according to our Agreement with Voyce Smither.
