Leases by John Thorpe< no role > and John Usher< no role > have been burnt down
being both insured against fire and three other Houses damaged
the said Thorpe hath caused his House to be rebuilt and the
Damages done to the other three have been repaired at the
Charge of the Tennants But We apprehending the said Usher
to be in low circumstances have prevailed with the Directors
of the Hand in hand fire Office on giving them a Security of
indemnity to lay out the mony insured thereon towards the
rebuilding the said House And we directed an Ejectment to be
brought for recovery of the possession of the ground on which
the said House Stood in order to the repossessing thereof & Judgement
has been obtained thereupon.

Wm. Farmer< no role > }


We have Agreed with John< no role > and William Farme< no role > to grant them
a Lease of a House in Harp Row in the Occupation of Samuel King< no role >
for 21. Years from Christmas 1728. when the Lease thereof expir'd
At the Old yearly rent of three Pounds tax free in Consideration
of a Fine of £50.

Grant to
Edwd. Bond< no role > }


We have Agreed with Edward Bond< no role > to grant him a Building
Lease of two old Houses in Black and white Court in the Old Baily
One of them being the Horshoe Alehouse and the other House
next adjoyning in the occupation of Mr. Jones for 51. Years from Michas
1730. at the Yearly rent of £7. tax free in Consideration of a Fine of
£10.10.He is to build one or two brick Houses on the Ground And
to hold the said two present Houses under that rent from Lady day
1729. till the Commencement of the new Lease.

£3000. East India
Bonds purchased}


We have Agreed that £3000. of the mony remaining in
Mr. Treasurers hands more than the immediate Service of the House
required should be invested in East India Bonds and he be indemnifyed
for so doing which mony was laid out accordingly.

Grant to
Edwd. Trench< no role > }


We have Agreed with Mr. Edmund Trench< no role > the present Tennant
of a Sugar House in Queen street near Cheapside lately burnt
down That he shall cause the present Lease thereof to be Surrend
And that afterwards we will grant him a Lease thereof for 51. Years
from Midsumer 1729. at the Yearly rent of £30. tax free with
usual Covenants for rebuilding And we have agreed to resuit
the Quarter rent which was due for the said Sugarhouse at
Midsumer last.

Grant to
Voyce Smither< no role > }


We have Agreed with Voyce Smither to grant him a Lease
of a House in Pater noster Row in the tenure of Thomas Farrow< no role >
known by the Sign of the Fig tree for 21. Years from Christmas
1730. when the present Lease thereof will expire at the Yearly
rent of £47.10.clear of Taxes And the said House is to be put
into substantial repair at the Hospital Charge.

Grant to the
Parish of Hackney }


We have (on Condition the General Court shall please to
consent) Agreed with the Gentlemen of the Vestry at Hackney
