The Orders and Proceedings of the Last General Court were Read
and approved

The Accot. of Wm. Cole< no role > Esqr . the Trear of this Hospl. for the Year ending of Lady Day 1724 and from
that time to the Sixth of May following (when he Resigned his said Place of Trear) having been
duly Audited And the Ballance having been duly paid by him to our present Trear was presented
approved and Allowed.

The Report from the Grand Committee of their Proceedings since
the last General Court was Read and is as followeth Vizt.

To the Right Worshipfull the General Court of the
Governours of the Hospital of St. Thomas the Apostle

We the Grand Committee Appointed for managing the Affaires of
this Hospital Do Report our Proceedings therein Since the last General
Court Held the 6th. day of May 1724. to be as followeth Vizt.

Grant to John Usher< no role >


We have Agreed with Mr. John Usher< no role > to Lett him a lease of a Brick House
in Wapping late in the Possession of Mr. Robert Askew< no role > for Twenty Years
and One Quarter of a Year from Midsummer 1725 at Twenty Pounds P Ann
Tax Free In Consideration of his laying out Sixty Pounds in New Buildings
upon the Wharfe next the River and in the Necessary Reparations of the
House within the first year of the said Terme And he is to keep the House
Insured against Fire.

We have Agreed with the Reverend Mr. John Baker< no role > to Grant him a Lease
of Several Old Houses and a Small piece of Garden Ground on the East side of
Kent Street in Southwark in the County of Surrey for One and Twenty years
from Midsummer 1724 at which time his Old Lease expired At the Yearly Rent
of Twenty five Pounds Tax Free In Consideration of a Fine of One hundered
pounds to be paid at Signing of the Contract and of his Laying out £200 in New
