Committees Report


Mr. Hucks from the Comittee for Viewing &
considering of the building the Houses in the
report mentioned in the minutes of last Grand
Committee Reported That the said Committee
had View'd the Ground & the Old Buildings
between the Bird in hand Ale House and the
Fluxing Wards, and had caused admeasurement
to be taken & designs drawn & Estimates made
as to such New buildings, And That it is
the opinion, That the New Houses in
St Thomas's Street be built by the Hospital

Resolved,

New houses to be
built by the hospital


That the Grand Committee Agreeto the
to the Opinion of Sub Committee That the
New Houses intended in St. Thomas's Street
be built at the Charge of this Hospital

Plan & Estimates laid
before the Comee and
referr'd


Mr. Danson, Surveyer employed by
the Sub Committee being call in laid
before this Committee a Plan & Estimates
of Houses proper to be built, between the
Bird in hand & the fluxing Wards, which
had been laid before the Sub Committee

The said Plan & Estimates are referrd
to the further consideration of the said Comittee
and when the said Committee have fully
settled a plan, They are desired to leave
the same in the Compting House for
workmen to See in order to the making
proposals for under taking the work
