was held by Mr. Eyre, Treasurer & Sr .
Thomas Abney< no role > was Elected President

1 March 1721

On the death of Sr . Thomas Abney< no role > , A Court
was held by Mr Cole, Treasurer & Sr Gibert
Heathcote< no role > was Elected President.

After the last mentiond Court was
Sumond, & before the day of sitting The
then Lord Mayor Sr William Stewart< no role > was
pleased to send for the Clark of this Hospital
and enquired by whose order the Court
was appointed & his Lord ship was inform'd
by the said Clerk that the same was Sum
sumond by order of the Grand Comittee
as had been done upon the death of Sr .
Robt. Clayton< no role > whereupon his Lordship
said, That the Mayor being first macn'd
named in the Charlers he was advised
that the Mayor for the time being ought
to be consulted as to the time for holding
a Court to Choose a New President to the
end he might be present if the pleased &
